North package tour 7 days 6 nights helps you explore the most prominent destinations in the North, such as Hanoi capital, Halong bay, especially Sapa, which has the(Fansipan) highest peak in Indochina 3143m- above sea level. You will have the opportunity to admire the splendid beauty of Halong for 2 days and discover the special features of Sapa where the ethnic minorities of Vietnam are living like Hmong, Zao, Zay.
Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrive (-)
Pick you up at the airport then transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is your leisure for walking around the street and shopping. Stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour – Lao Cai/Sapa (B,L)
You will start the tour by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-palace. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he used to live in the past. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
Continue to visit the Temper of Literature (QuocTuGiam) – Vietnam’s first University constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Have lunch at local restaurants. Proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum. After that we will take you to HoanKiem Lake, see the peaceful water, and visit Ngoc Son Temple.
An hours cyclo tour around the bustling old quarter to experience ordinary life in Hanoi. At 18.00, back to your hotel. It’s your free time now to have dinner and a short while to explore the streets of Hanoi.
At 20.00, Our tour assistant picks you up from your hotel to transfer to you Tran Quy Cap train station. He will lead you to your cabin on the train. Train departs and sleep the night on train. Travel time approx 9 hrs. Overnight on train.
Day 3: Sapa – 2,200 m of altitude (B,L,D)
5.00 am: Arrival in Lao Cai Station. Our van take you to the Sapa Town for visiting Fansipan.
Fansipan is Vietnam’s highest peak located in the far north just outside of Sapa. Fansipan a very steep mountain that gets a lot of moisture. Those looking to climb it should be in good shape and prepared to to have muddy wet feet The scenery is incredible remember to bring a camera.
Jeep to silver waterfall, Tram Ton pass – from this highest pass in Vietnam, starts the strenuous climb to the peak. 8 hours through primitive forest, many small streams and bamboo forests…reach the top of 2,800m, make tents, and prepare for dinner. This is the 1st night for travelers, guide and porters to seat friendly close to each others beside the fire to enjoy the tasty moment that all have once in the life of experience.
Day 4: 2,800 m – Fansipan peak – Sapa (B,L,D)
A hard climb heads up to the top the summit. At the top you will be the vanquisher. Take your time to enjoy yourself, take pictures and your lunch then descend the same way or take another way to go down to the foot of the mountain and take a jeep back to Sapa. Overnight at Bamboo hotel.
Day 5: Free time in Sapa town (B)
You free time to walk around the Sapa town or rent a motorbike to visit some attractions. Come back the hotel at 4pm. Car and guide pick you up to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.
Sapa is famous for its special cultural diversity in a combination of ethnic minority groups’ culture. Visitors to Sapa will have opportunities to discover the unique customs of the local residents. Local markets are the town’s typically cultural element, which are always crowded and joyful, attracting hundreds of visitors. This is the common place for minority groups to gather and exchange goods. Market sessions are also a chance for local people to promenade. No foreign visitor could help joining such a market session, a typical cultural element of Sapa. What is more, tourists coming to Sapa at weekends have the great chance to learn about local ethnic people’s courtship and martial life, through the Sapa love market and wife kidnapping ceremony of the H’Mong group. The ceremony will begin on April 29th. This is part of a five-day festival, titled Festival on the Cloud, to mark the beginning of the Sapa 2006 tourism year, in the northern mountain township of Sapa, in Lao Cai Province.
Going back to the Lao Cai Train Station to go back to Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B,L,D)
05.00: Arrive at Tran Quy Cap station in Hanoi. Our tour assistant welcomes you back and accompany you to hotel for breakfast and morning shower.
Around 08.00, Our guide Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus. Take a rest at Humanity center and enjoy local specialties after 2h. Arrival in Halong at 11.45. The captain and crew welcome you aboard. Savor the delicious lunch as boat pass through thousands of Islands and Islets with different shapes.
After lunch, explore the biggest and the most amazing cave in Halong Bay –Surprise Cave. Then Kayaking for an hour around the fishing village and discover the life of community there. Then back to boat for Sunset Party, get to calm, clean water place for swimming. Enjoy delicious and romantic dinner with some barbecue courses.
In the evening, free time for entertainment with the funny plays such as squid fishing, karaoke program, stars watching on sundeck… Spend romantic night on board and overnight on board.
Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)
Early morning, start your new day on Halong bay with doing morning exercises,Taichi or hunting photos. Breakfast with coffee or tea. After breakfast, our bus takes you to CaiBeoharbor, get on “Day Boat”, back boat. Then visit Ba Hang Fishing Village by tender to experience the lifestyle of local people. Back to boat restaurant to join cooking class and enjoy lunch.
At 11.45, Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 16.30.
End of tour.
