Route: HO CHI MINH - CU CHI TUNNEL - HUE - HOI AN - MY SON SANCTUARY - HANOI - HALONG BAY
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH - ARRIVAL
Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International airport. Welcome by our driver with your name on board. Then transfer you to Ho Chi Minh center. Lunch/dinner at your account. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 2: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNEL (B, L)
Breakfast at your hotel. AM: Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant.
PM.Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to HCM City. Stay overnight in HCM City
DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA - MY THO - BEN TRE (B, L)
07:30AM, Pick up at your hotel, travel by shuttle bus to My Tho – 9:30 AM, board a wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. Another boat stop is for the Turtle Island 1 hr from the previous one. Here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a cup of authentic Honey Tea while checking out the Folk Music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam. After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of Coconut Candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts. After that drive back HCM City.
DAY 4: HCM CITY FLIGHT TO DANANG (B)
Breakfast at hotel,
Our driver will pick off you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, take a flight to Danang city. On arrival we will pick you from Danang airport to Hotel in Hotel- free and easy at the leisure time. Overnight in Hoi An
DAY 5: HOI AN - TRA QUE VILLAGE - LANTERN MAKEING (B/L)
8:00 Our tour guide will greet you and provide your bicycle for your trip.Your day will start at The Silkworms Rearing and Silk Weaving Village with the activities such as feeding the silkworms, and listening about their life cycle and you will witness the Champa and Vietnamese artists present reeling, spinning, weaving techniques on traditional looms hundreds of years old.
And then Tra Que vegetable village. You can relax and enjoy the peaceful countryside then stroll along the vegetable villages. As a special treat, you will be involved with digging, sowing, planting, harvesting the vegetables with hundreds of years rudimentary tools of the farmers. You will enjoy the E Water, a speciality of Tra Que vegetable village, you can feel the strong medicinal flavour from many kinds of vegetables.
You will ride your bicycle leisurely passing the rice fields, villages, to come to the art of making lanterns.
You will visit craftsmen with skillful hands, showing you how to create the brightly colored lanterns. Expertly guided you could make yourself a lantern as a gift to your family. Finish your learning, the tour guide will take you back to your hotel, finish your trip.
Overnight in Hoi An
DAY 6: MY SON SANCTUARY (B, L) - Flight to Hanoi
Breakfast and check-out. AM: 8.00 We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in Southeast Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in . Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. We also spend time to visit a silk handicraft village along the Thu Bon River on the way back to Hoi An.
Bus take you to Danang Airport. Take flight from Danang to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi Hotel.
DAY 7: HANOI CITY TOUR (B, L)
AM: 7.45 – 8.15: Free pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam).Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. At the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Tour ends around 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi city.
DAY 8: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel then driver and tour guide will come to pick you up at hotel around 8:00. Departs for Halong Bay. Stop-over at middle way for rest and relax
Arrival in Tuan Chau port at noon, check in on board. Enjoy set menu sea-food lunch while cruising through most beautiful parts of the magical Bay with thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water. Discover the magical beauty of nature by kayaking along side limestone cliffs stretching vertically over pure blue water in tranquil bay. Swimming if the weather permit.
Sunset party on upper deck in late afternoon before enjoying special dinner cooked by our professional chef. Free at leisure at the evening for relaxing, singing karaoke or squid-fishing…
DAY 9: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B, L)
You can wake up early for taking beautiful photos of sunrise. Breakfast will be served after that. Then visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay. Check out at 9:00am.
Boat keeps cruising around the bay to un-touch area. Take part in Cooking class then have farewell lunch before the boat disembark at Tuan Chau port around 11:45am.
Get on the bus to drive back Hanoi. Drop off at Hotel in Hanoi center around 5:00pm. Stay overnight in Hanoi Center
Day 10: Hanoi Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will get free time until your flight depart. Our driver will pick off you 3 hours before departure time. Tour end here.
