The Moc Chau - Son La - Dien Bien tour not only captivates travelers with breathtaking landscapes such as Thung Khe Pass, Pha Din Pass, and other stunning natural wonders, but also due to its rich historical landmarks from a glorious revolutionary era: the Son La Prison, the Dien Bien Phu Historical Museum, and more. Visiting these places, one immerses oneself in the natural beauty of the Northwestern region.
Itinerary
DAY 01: HANOI - TUAN GIAO (LUNCH / - / DINNER)
05:00: Pick-up by car and tour guide at the meeting point at the Opera House to start the journey to explore the Northwest Bauhinia flower season. Rest and have breakfast on the way.
08:00: Stop at ThungKhe Pass at an altitude of about 1,000m above sea level. Here, you have the opportunity to enjoy and buy local products and breathe in the cool breeze blowing through the Da River and the lush green Ba Khan valley.
10:00: Take photos with the famous S-shaped pass in Moc Chau.
11:00: Visit the Heart-shaped Tea Hill, perhaps the most beautiful tea hill in Moc Chau plateau and Vietnam, with its lush green tea rows creating a romantic and peaceful feeling. This is also the area where high-quality tea is produced, with one of the famous brands being O Long tea.
12:00: Have lunch in Moc Chau. After lunch, the car continues to Tuan Giao. On the way, you stop to take photos with:
- The monument of Youth Volunteers at CòNòi junction.
- PhaĐin Pass - one of the four great passes in the North. 15:00: Arrive in Son La city. Visit Son La Museum, Son La Prison, and Dao TôHiệu Cherry Blossom Tree.
- 19:00: Arrive in Tuan Giao, enjoy dinner with delicious Northwest specialties, then check into the hotel for rest. Free evening to explore. Overnight at a hotel in Tuan Giao.
DAY 02: SON LA - DIEN BIEN (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)
06:00: Check-out, have breakfast, then take the car to Dien Bien. Stop to take photos with the artillery pulling monument near the entrance to Muong Phang.
09:30: Arrive in Muong Phang - the command base of our troops in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Visit the entire relic area and take commemorative photos at the monument complex in the Victory Park in Muong Phang.
11:30: Have lunch in Dien Bien. After lunch, check into the hotel for rest.
14:00: Visit Muong Thanh Bridge, Nam Rom River, and ĐờCát Tunnel. ĐờCát Tunnel has welcomed many high-ranking officials such as French Prime Minister Joseph Laniel, US President Dwight Eisenhower, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and many famous journalists. Visit Hill A1 with traces of the nearly one-ton boulders still present here.
17:30: Visit the Dien Bien Victory Monument located in the central area of Dien Bien Phu city on Hill D1. From the top of Hill D1, you can overlook the entire center of Dien Bien city.
18:30: Dinner. Free evening to participate in activities during the Dien Bien Bauhinia Week event. You can also request to have dinner and cultural exchange in the village of the Black Thai people to learn more about the local Thai culture (self-funded). Overnight in Dien Bien.
DAY 03: DIEN BIEN - HANOI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / -)
05:00: Check-out and take the car back to Hanoi.
12:00: Have lunch in Moc Chau.
18:00: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the program. See you again!

Note:
- Guests must bring valid identification documents (ID card or Passport)
- It is recommended to bring insect repellent, common cold medicine, toothbrush, toothpaste, and personal towels if necessary, as living conditions in the mountains are still limited compared to major cities.
- Vegetarians should bring their own vegetarian food to ensure their taste.
- Any unused services during the tour will not be refunded.
- The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of visiting points to suit the specific conditions of each departure day, but still ensure all the sightseeing points in the program.
- In case the vehicle capacity is 16 seats or less, the driver may also act as a tour guide. These are experienced drivers who are familiar with the route and local culture.
- As it is a mountainous tour, small cars are often used, so guests are advised not to bring bulky or oversized luggage. It is recommended to bring a backpack instead of hard suitcases.
- In case a guest travels alone and we cannot arrange a roommate, a single room fee of 50% of the room price/night throughout the journey is required.
- At the end of the tour on the return day, we will drop off guests at a single point, which is the Hanoi Opera House. Guests are responsible for taking a taxi back to their hotel or place of residence.
