Sunny Hotel is located in the north of Nha Trang, 2km away from the city Po Nagar towers majestically stands on Cu Lao Mountain north of Nha Trang as a sacred sanctuary of Brahmanism, were built between the 7th and 12th centuries on a site used for Hindu worship as early as the 2nd century AD. There were eight towers at Po Nagar, four of which remain. The biggest tower with its height of 23 meters is dedicated to Lady Po Nagar, believed to be an incarnation of the Goddess Uma, Shivas consort. It was built in 817 by King Harivarman I , 43 years after the original temples were sacked and burned by Indonesian corsairs.
