DAY 1: HANOI - ARRIVAL (L)
Arrive at Noi Bai International airport. Welcome by our driver with your name on board. Then transfer you to Hanoi Old Quarter. Visit Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Westlake, Take 1 hour Cyclo Tour around Hanoi Old Quarter. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B, L)
AM : 08:00 - 08:30: Pick up at your hotel (join tours will free pick up all points in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex - the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. We then continue to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (apply on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we’ll proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple - Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you pass by Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. For the last part of the tour we’ll journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Then enjoy Water Puppet Show which is a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century CE when it originated in the villages of the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. Back your hotel around 17h00. Overnight in Hanoi city.
DAY 3: HANOI - HOA LU - TAM COC (B, L)
AM : 8:00 - 8:30. Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch around at 12:30PM. PM : After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. Then, cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc - Bich Dong (around 5 km). Dive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel around at 18:30PM. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 4: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B, L, D)
Breakfast at hotel. 07:45 – 08:15 Pick-up at your hotel and depart for Halong city. 12:00 – 12:15 On arrival at Halong city, you will board your cruise and you are warmly welcomed by professional and friendly crew. Check into cabin. Enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising towards thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water, passing by Stone Dog islet, floating fishing village, Incense Burner islet, Fighting Chicken islet,… visit Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay. After that do kayaking for an hour, Swimming time, this is great chance to relax in water, jumping, diving, take a back flip, then join Sunset party on upper deck… Enjoy dinner around 19:00. Free time for singing karaoke, dancing, squid fishing, playing cards or relax at leisure… Overnight on boat
DAY 5: HALONG BAY - HANOI - FLIGHT TO HUE (B, L)
Breakfast, fruits, coffee and tea will be served. Continue to cruise further before stopover at the pearl farm to sea real peace cultivated by local fisherman. Back to the cruise for check-out while the cruise takes you further to discover the hidden charm of the bay, taking photos many islets with outstanding shapes as frog island, turtle island,… Cooking class opened right on the cruise for all the people are interested in cooking, especially cooking Vietnamese food. Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor. Afternoon, get on the bus back to Hanoi. Transfer you back to your hotel around 17:00. Taxi see off at Noi Bai Airport. DAY 6: HUE CITY TOUR (B, L)
8:00 Driver pick you up at hotel, join Hue city Tour, visit Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum, Emperor Khai Dinh’s Mausoleum, Performing Programs Of VO KINH VAN AN – Vietnam Traditional Kung-fu and Emperor Tu Duc ’s Mausoleums. Stop on the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made. Enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Imperial capital during Nguyen Dynasty and the seven – storey Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank. Return by boat on the gentle Perfume River and do not miss the sunset on the river. Overnight in Hue Hotel
DAY 7: HUE - HOI AN - FREE AT LEISURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel. 8:00 Take bus to Hoi An, 12:00 arrive in Hoi An Hotel, Check in. Free time to explore Hoi An Town. Overnight in Hoi An Hotel
DAY 8: MY SON SANCTUARY (B, L)
Breakfast and check-out. AM: 8.00 We travel about 50km from Hoi An to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in . Though the complex has been destroyed over time, we still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. We also spend time to visit a silk handicraft village along the Thu Bon River on the way back to Hoi An.
Bus take you to Danang Airport. Take flight from Danang to HCM City. Overnight in HCM Hotel.
DAY 9: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNEL (B, L)
Breakfast at your hotel. Morning: Depart at 8:00AM for Cu Chi tunnels. Arrive Cu Chi at 9:30AM. View video film and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels. On site visit of Ben Dinh tunnels. Cu Chi tunnels were created since 1948 to assist Vietnam to combat the French. Construction of the tunnels continued over the next 25 years until they became an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers for the war against American. For those interested there is an opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range. Leave Cu Chi at noon time for Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive back Ho Chi Minh City at 01:00PM. Stop for lunch. Afternoon: Depart at 2:00PM to visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace, that was the sight of South Vietnams surrender in April 1975. Walk down to see Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and the War Remnants Museum which are beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period. The tour ends at 5:00PM. Overnight in HCM Hotel.
DAY 10: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. 08:00 - 08:30, Pick up & start to Mekong delta tour. 9:30am - 10.00am, arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fishermans port, stilt houses (half on land, half on water). From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta. Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about! Next, lets get back to the large motor boat for something different. Youll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards. After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, well get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers life. Have a lunch at the restaurant in Mekong Delta. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam. As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 11: CAN THO - CAI RANG - HO CHI MINH (B,L)
After breakfast, around 7:15 am, we board a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape ---- Cai Rang floating market… This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, youll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City. After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and a rice paper factories. The next stop is a rice processing factory where youll learn the many steps that transform "rice with a brown cover" to the delicious and beautiful rice grain that we consume daily. The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Lets go back to Can Tho for that. We end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh by bus/private car, well have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs. Arrive in your hotel at 19.00 pm. Dinner at your account. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city
DAY 12: HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, you will get free time until your flight depart. Our driver will pick off you 3 hours before departure time.
